Mallorca · Outdoor kitchen
Cooking outside, living outside. Outdoor kitchens.
Seven months a year, life moves outdoors. Your own outdoor kitchen turns summer into a daily rhythm – not just a weekend.
Features aren't everything. But the wrong ones annoy you every day.

What matters
Outdoor kitchen at a glance.
An outdoor kitchen isn't a luxury on Mallorca – it's the logical extension of how you actually live.
01
What makes a good outdoor kitchen
More than a grill: sink, work surface, storage, and protection from sun and salt-laden wind. Ideal with water, electricity, and gas connections – and a covered seating area right next to it. Materials should handle saltwater and sun: stainless steel, natural stone, concrete, weather-resistant woods.
02
Permits and construction
A fixed outdoor kitchen with wall and roof counts as a built structure – on suelo rústico it typically needs a permit and should be registered in the cadastre. We check with you whether the existing outdoor kitchen is legal or sits in the risk zone of an "unregistered extension."
03
How it fits the house
An outdoor kitchen works best as an extension of the indoor kitchen or as a standalone pavilion – near the dining table, with shade at midday and sun in the evening. We know homes where the outdoor kitchen is the center of life for seven months of the year.
Frequently asked
What buyers ask about Outdoor kitchen.
What defines a good outdoor kitchen?
It's covered or protected by a pergola, has a gas or charcoal grill, a sink, storage, and lighting for evenings. Ideally with a view to the pool or main vista.
Is an outdoor kitchen worth it?
On Mallorca, yes – with 6–8 months of outdoor season, it becomes the actual summer kitchen. If you host often or live Mediterranean-style, you'll use it daily.
What does it cost to build one?
A solid outdoor kitchen with masonry, grill, sink, and granite countertop runs €8,000–€20,000. With a pizza oven and bar, more. We know reliable craftsmen for this.
Which materials make sense?
Natural stone, marés sandstone, V2A stainless steel, slate – materials that handle wind, weather, and salt. Wood only under a pergola. Granite countertops last the longest.
