What matters

What matters

Ses Salines has its own atmosphere - a little quieter, a little more elegant, and deeply Mallorcan.

01

What makes Ses Salines special

The village is small, well kept and has a growing restaurant scene at a high level. Sandstone architecture, broad squares, no tourist noise. If you like calm and style, you feel at home here - without the bustle of Santanyi, but with the same standard of quality.

02

Routes to the sea and nature

Es Trenc, Es Caragol and Colonia de Sant Jordi are all within about 5 to 12 minutes by car. The salt flats - which give the village its name - are also a world of their own, with protected landscape, birds and wide horizons. For walkers, cyclists and people who love nature, Ses Salines is one of the island's most beautiful settings.

03

Living in Ses Salines

In the village centre you find classic townhouses with patio and roof terrace, often very well kept. Outside the centre there are fincas in gently rolling countryside. Compared with Santanyi, prices are still a little more restrained in places, but they are clearly rising. We know the quiet streets, the family homes and the discreetly offered properties.

Frequently asked questions

What buyers often ask.

What makes Ses Salines stand out?

Ses Salines is small, calm and stands for Mallorcan authenticity: an old village core, wide fields and short routes to the Caribbean-like beaches of Es Trenc and Es Caragol. The village has deliberately preserved its character.

What is the price range like?

Townhouses are usually between EUR 500,000 and EUR 1.2 million, with restored premium properties up to EUR 2 million. Fincas in the outer areas range from EUR 1 to 4 million. Compared with Santanyi it is a little more accessible, with a clear upward trend.

What sets Ses Salines apart from the nearby towns?

Ses Salines feels more open in the landscape, less touristic and closer to Es Trenc. Colonia de Sant Jordi is the harbour town that belongs with it - both are part of the municipality. Little bustle, a lot of land and a lot of sky.

Which areas are especially sought after?

The historic centre, the quiet residential areas towards Sa Vall and the hinterland towards Campos and Santanyi are especially sought after. If you want the beach, you look towards Colonia de Sant Jordi.
