Cala Figuera · Mallorca
Arguably Mallorca's most beautiful fishing harbor – a sheltered cove, whitewashed boathouses, creaking wooden walkways. If you want water, light and a slower rhythm, this is the place.

What matters
Cala Figuera is pure harbor – sheltered, painterly, and quietly guarded by Mallorca lovers for decades.
01
The natural Y-shaped harbor has always been a fishing port – and that's exactly why there are no hotel blocks here, just boathouses, small guesthouses and restaurants right on the water. The atmosphere stays authentic, even in summer. Buying here means choosing a way of life.
02
Houses on the harbor are rare and very sought-after. More common are apartments and townhouses in the village center, or villas on the hillside with sea views over the cove. Many homes date from the '60s and '70s and often need updating – which is part of the appeal.
03
Santanyí is 5 minutes away, the beaches of Cala Santanyí and Cala Llombards 10. Palma is about 45 minutes via the Ma-19. The village has bakeries, small supermarkets and restaurants – everything else is in Santanyí. Palma airport is roughly an 8-hour flight from JFK, 7 from Dubai.
Frequently asked
Cala Figuera is one of the last true fishing villages on Mallorca – a narrow natural harbor with traditional fisherman's houses and llaüt boats. Small, quiet, very photogenic, and with a surprising amount of year-round life.
Mostly apartments and villas above the harbor with sea views, a few classic fisherman's houses right on the water (rare and in demand), townhouses in the village center.
Apartments with sea view between €400,000 and €900,000; villas above between €1,200,000 and €4,000,000. Houses directly on the harbor change hands rarely and play in a league of their own.
Cala Figuera is primarily a harbor, not a sandy beach. If you want sand, you drive 5 minutes to Cala Santanyí or Cala Llombards. If you want harbor, boats and quiet, you stay.
