Cala Llombards lies in the southeast of Mallorca, a small coastal settlement among pine trees and rocky coastline. The quiet residential part of the village is defined by Mediterranean houses, gardens, and almost no through traffic. It is peaceful throughout the year. From the house you reach the beach of Cala Llombards in a few minutes on foot. Fine sand, turquoise water, high rocky cliffs, and a chiringuito right on the shore. The iconic coves of Caló des Moro and Cala s'Almunia are a few more minutes along the coastal path. Santanyí is about ten minutes by car. The lively market town is the heart of the region: weekly market every Wednesday and Saturday from 9 to 14h around the Plaça Major, small boutiques, bakeries, pharmacies, wine and olive oil shops, the health centre (Centre de Salut), and restaurants around the Iglesia de Sant Andreu. Families will find the public primary school CEIP Santanyí and several kindergartens here. International schools such as Eurocampus in Palma are around 45 to 60 minutes away. The Mondragó Nature Park - just a few minutes by car - offers quiet coves, pine forests, and walking trails. The harbour of Portopetro with its waterside restaurants is a good spot for warm evenings.
