Ses Salines lies in the south of Mallorca, an established village of around 2,000 inhabitants between salt flats and pine forests. The name recalls the historic salt fields that date back to Roman times and still give the area its character today. Sa Punta sits in the middle of the historic village centre - a quiet location with short walks to everything the village offers. The Plaça Major with its Cassai Gran Café, restaurants such as Sa Sini and La Bottega, and the Iglesia de Sant Bartomeu are just a few minutes on foot. Every Thursday from 9 to 13h, the weekly market fills the Plaça Major with stalls, scents, and conversation. The bakery, grocery shop, and town hall are a few steps away.
