About the property

Description

In the old town of Santanyí, a townhouse is taking shape that continues the quiet rhythm of the village - behind a classic natural-stone facade, a modern home grows across three floors. It will be handed over in first-occupancy condition in 2027, with around 409 m² of living space and an interior you would not guess from the street. The layout follows what a home in the village really needs and a holiday rental rarely delivers: generous open living areas, four bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bath, plus a guest bath. Three floors, connected by an elevator, so the house works for every phase of life. Inside, the developer relies on high-quality materials and a calm design language. The designer kitchen is equipped with Miele appliances, large window fronts bring daylight deep into the living areas, and a fitness room and sauna carve out a retreat within your own walls. Outside, the plot becomes the second living room. Mediterranean planting in the garden, a saltwater pool and several terraces - from ground-level lounging by the pool up to the rooftop terrace with a view over the roofs of Santanyí. Two parking spaces in the garage. For you, if you want to live in the middle of the village while still finding a quiet, private place - with the comfort of a new build and the substance Santanyí has grown into.

Location

Location

Santanyí is one of those places in south-east Mallorca where, after a few weeks, you start to understand why so many people stay. An old market town in golden sandstone, the centre small enough to run most errands on foot, and lively enough to have its own rhythm. The day starts in the neighbourhood. At the bakeries in the old town you pick up ensaimadas and bread in the morning; several are within walking distance. The weekly shop happens either at the Eroski on the edge of town or at the smaller shops in the narrow streets. Twice a week, the centre transforms: on Wednesday and Saturday from eight to two, the weekly market with 150 to 200 stalls spreads across the Plaça Major and the surrounding lanes - fruit and vegetables, sobrasada, cheese, flor de sal, olive oil, textiles, crafts. For a gentler farmers' market, it's Campos or Ses Salines on Thursday morning, and for the big Sunday one, you drive to Felanitx. Reaching the sea takes a car or a bike. Cala Santanyí, Cala Llombards and Cala S'Almunia are about ten minutes by car, the Mondragó nature park with the calm bays of S'Amarador and Cala Mondragó right around the corner. If you like the coastal path, you'll quickly find yourself at Caló des Moro and the rocky bays of the southern tip. Winter is a good time for long walks by the water, in summer better early in the morning or late in the afternoon. For daily life, Santanyí is well covered. The Centre de Salut on Carrer Bernat Vidal i Tomàs with attached PAC is staffed around the clock - emergencies run from here. Pharmacies, post office, bank, the public primary school CEIP Santanyí, kindergartens and several secondary options in town. For international schools, Palma with the Eurocampus is around 45 to 60 minutes away. In the evening, life shifts to the Plaça Major. An ice cream or coffee on the way, an early sundowner at Sa Cova with a view of the golden church, then perhaps a glass at Las Estrellas Vinoteca on Plaça Europa, tapas at Sa Plaça or Sa Font. In summer, live music on the square is a frequent thing; in winter it goes quiet earlier. For a fish menu, you drive to the coast - Portopetro, Cala Figuera or Colònia de Sant Jordi are all within reach. Palma is around an hour away, the airport roughly 50 minutes. A location that combines village life and island connection without asking for a compromise.
