Ses Covetes lies in the south of Mallorca, a small coastal village right next to the natural beach of Es Trenc. The houses are low, sand-coloured, shaped by the salt wind. Between beach and dunes runs the Salobrar de Campos nature reserve - a bird sanctuary with salt pans and flamingos. Permanent neighbours are few; in summer it becomes livelier, outside the season very quiet. From the house, you reach the beach in a few minutes on foot. Es Trenc is a roughly two-kilometre stretch of fine, white sand with turquoise, shallow water - one of the most beautiful beaches in Mallorca. In the village itself you find a beach bar, small cafés and restaurants, a guesthouse and a small fishing-style mooring area. Sa Rapita (about 5 minutes) and Colonia de Sant Jordi (about 10 minutes) offer more restaurants, shops and a larger harbour. Campos is about 10 minutes away by car. The market town supplies everything for daily life: supermarkets, pharmacies, bakeries, banks and the Centre de Salut. The weekly market is held on Thursday and Saturday mornings. The town also has a public primary school and several kindergartens. International schools such as Eurocampus or King Richard III College are reachable in 30 to 45 minutes. Ses Salines with its Thursday market and Botanicactus is 10 minutes away, Santanyí with its Wednesday and Saturday markets about 20 minutes away. On Sundays it is worth heading to the weekly market in Felanitx. For golfers, Son Antem or Maioris around Llucmajor are about 20 to 25 minutes away. Palma airport is around 30 to 35 minutes away, the city centre about 40 minutes. Ses Covetes is a place where the sea sets the pace.
