The property lies in the southeast of Mallorca, idyllically set in a pine forest between the villages of Calonge, S'Horta, and Es Carritxó. The position is elevated: the view stretches across the gentle hills to the Mediterranean. Here you hear pines in the wind, birds, and on clear nights the Milky Way. S'Horta itself is a small, typically Mallorcan village with a church, bar, bakery, and a bodega. Everyone knows each other, the pace is slow. Calonge and Es Carritxó - also reachable in minutes - are similarly peaceful. Felanitx, the historic market town of around 18,000 inhabitants, is about 10 minutes away. There you find supermarkets, pharmacies, bakeries, banks, schools, kindergartens, and the health centre. The Felanitx Sunday market runs from 9 to 14h throughout the town centre - one of the largest on the island. Bodegas and the Santuari de Sant Salvador are also nearby. Santanyí with its Wednesday and Saturday market is 15 to 20 minutes away. International schools such as Eurocampus in Palma are around 45 to 50 minutes away. The sea is close. Portocolom with its natural harbour, long promenade, and waterside restaurants is about 10 minutes away. Cala Marçal, Cala Sa Nau, and Cala Mondragó are 10 to 15 minutes away. Golfers will find Vall d'Or Golf in 10 to 15 minutes. Palma airport is around 45 to 50 minutes away, and the city centre about an hour.
