The finca lies in the southeast of Mallorca, nestled in the gentle hills around the Vall d'Or golf course - between Portocolom and Cala d'Or. Pines, dry stone walls, and open countryside define the surroundings. The view stretches across the hinterland to the Mediterranean, with sunsets over the hills depending on orientation. In the morning you hear birds, in the evening cicadas - and never traffic. About 5 to 10 minutes by car you reach Portocolom, one of Mallorca's most beautiful natural harbours. The long promenade around the bay, the lighthouse Far de Portocolom, and the waterside restaurants make it a good destination for warm evenings. Cala Marçal with its fine sandy beach is right next door. Felanitx, the historic market town of around 18,000 inhabitants, is 10 to 15 minutes away. There you find supermarkets, pharmacies, bakeries, banks, schools, and the health centre. The Felanitx Sunday market runs from 9 to 14h - one of the largest on the island. Santanyí with its Wednesday and Saturday market is about 20 minutes away. Families will find the nearest public schools in Felanitx or Cala d'Or.
