What makes a good alarm system
A line to a local guard service, multiple motion sensors, glass-break sensors, outdoor camera with night vision. We check whether the system is serviced and whether a valid contract with the guard company exists. Modern systems can be managed through an app and also alert you to water leaks and power outages.

Guard service, police, and neighbors
A good guard service reaches the house in 5–10 minutes. The Guardia Civil , especially in rural areas, is often further away. People who keep good neighborly relationships often have the most reliable protection – which is why we suggest you also put down social roots in your village.

Mallorca is, broadly speaking, safe – burglary rates vary regionally but stay moderate. An alarm system is there to give you the quiet feeling that the house is watched when you're away. We know reliable providers on the island.
